May report card
Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 8:44PM If you’ve been following for a while, you know that I do a report card for each previous month to make sure I’m doing what I say I want to do and to measure any progress. For May, I give myself high marks in two areas, an average grade in one and, well, I, um, sort of, um, completely forgot about the other one. (Again!)
I work out 4-5 days a week: Check. I think this is a habit now and that I can safely take it off my list of things I’m working on without worrying that I’ll forget to fit it in. That’s a major win for me!
I meditate for 15 minutes at least 3 days a week: Don’t know why this one is so difficult for me. I forget about it. I will schedule it on my calendar when I am planning my workouts and see if that does the trick.
I spend one night a week hanging out with M once the kids go to bed: We do hang out but last night when we were watching something on TV and both playing iPhone games, I realized that something has to change. I’m keeping this on my list for June and will report back.
I spend money based on what’s important to me rather than making impulse purchases: I’m not spending much money right now on things other than the essentials, an occasional night out with friends and a latte here and there. I actually think I’m doing pretty well on this one.
I’m off to create my list for June (I’m a bit behind). What are you working on? I’d love to hear.
